About Odeesy
Love, desire & modern relationships.
We have never had so many ways to meet each other — and perhaps never found it so difficult to understand one another.
Dating apps, longer periods of single life, divorce, blended families, changing expectations and new freedoms have transformed the way we meet, love and relate.
And yet, many of the questions remain surprisingly familiar.
Where do people actually meet now?
What are men and women really looking for?
Why are so many people tired of dating apps?
Can falling in love feel different at 45, 55 or 65?
And what does a good relationship even look like today?
Odeesy is an independent publication exploring love, desire and relationships in contemporary life.
Not through formulas for finding love in five easy steps.
Not by telling women how to attract men, or men how to understand women.
And not by turning every romantic uncertainty into a psychological diagnosis.
We would rather observe, listen and ask better questions.
We talk to people who are single, dating, married, divorced, searching, hesitating — and sometimes perfectly happy not searching at all.
Because between what we say we want, what we actually desire and the way we live our relationships, there is often a fascinating gap.
That is where Odeesy begins.

Relationships without a rulebook
Odeesy explores love, but also intimacy, desire, sex, solitude, attraction, fidelity, separation and the constant negotiation between freedom and attachment.
We believe relationships are simply too interesting to be reduced to instructions.
We prefer stories to prescriptions.
Contradictions to easy answers.
Real conversations to ready-made theories.
And sometimes, a good question to a bad answer.
A European perspective
Love does not look exactly the same everywhere.
From Brussels to Paris, London, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Madrid and beyond, cultures, cities and social codes shape the way we meet and connect.
Odeesy looks at modern relationships through a European lens — while remaining curious about how people love everywhere.
Because beneath all those differences, we seem to be wrestling with a similar question:
How do you find someone — without losing yourself in the process?
